Guatemala Santa Isabel
Coffee is often about connection. Both in the brewed cup but also along the supply chain. This particular connection has been fun and sweet- much like the coffee itself. A partnership with an exporter/farm-connecting friends, TG LABS and Interamerican coffee led us to our second Guatemala offering of the season; Santa Isabel. Nestled at 1500 meters above sea level- the Santa Isabel represents the nexus of two different wind systems at an elevation that creates an extremely high altitude rain forest. What is created in this idyllic situation is a very "classic" Guatemalan profile of Milk Chocolate, delicate Meyer Lemon acidity, and sweet, Almond finish. We love this coffee from the Coban region of Guatemala and think it will please a very many of the palates that connect with this coffee. Enjoy.
