Our first washed Ethiopia of the season is an understated one. Coming from Duromina washing station in the Jimma zone this coffee, while not chalk-full of stone fruit there is a very lovely jasmine florality and lots of viscous sweetness. Depending on the brew you can pull out a faint peach or cranberry but you have to look for it past the green tea and honeysuckle notes. There is a range here that invites some experimentation.
