Ethiopia Kayon Mountain
I don't know what it is about my (Andrew's) sensory apperatus but when it comes to sparkling, floral, and sweet Ethiopian coffees all I can taste are "rainbows." Something about the beguiling nature of most Ethiopian flavor profiles, the heirloom/uncategorized/wild varietals, and probably a few other things create a synesthesia moment in my brain that can only be encapsulated by that wonderful display of color on a rainy day. This coffee created such a moment for me and am super excited to be sharing another coffee from Kayon Mountain. Ismel Hassen and his family own Kayon Mountain in Shakiso district and have created an amazing naturally processed coffee. Enjoy!
